  • I don't think my answer is much of a shocker.

I just think its funny how many other peope on here are coming up with the old man in their crosshairs, probably totaly unaware that their true inner convitctions conform with his much more closely than they are consciously aware.

  • Like many here, I was closets to Obama and furthest from Thompson.

It was pretty much accurate for me. Depending on the issues, I was closest to Richardson on a few and Paul on a couple and overall to Obama. That has pretty much been my thoughts for a while now. The only one that surprised me, is that I was closest to Giuliani on the economy.
    My whole life
    was like a picture

As with any libertarian I agree with Ron Paul nearly completely 50 percent of the time and disagree with him nearly completely the other 50 percent of the time. Borrowing a bit from Noam Chomsky: American Libertarianism is a vile form of government which purports freedom and equal opportunity for all individuals in a place that has always been unfree and inequal...how is that supposed to work?

    oh yeah...Obama and Thompson.

Uh certainly no worse than attempting to let the government sort out freedom and inequality on an ongoing basis.

And i'm not talking about civil rights.
If we want to talk about things like womens or minority rights, we are talking about TRULY adhering to the constitution and sanctioning "right to liberty & pursuit of hapiness" for ALL. That is a valid realm for federal involvement.

But, in GENERAL ... it certainly can't be much worse to let people themselves figure out how to be free and equal ... instead of making the really dumb assumption that the government knows best how to sort it all out.

They've done a REALLY SMASHING job with the welfare state, haven't they?

A LOT of equality there, huh?
