Scott McClellan's book is suppose to tell a lot of truths other Bush people have kept quiet about. I wonder if others will begin to come forward, or will the powers that be gang up to discredit him.

"WHAT HAPPENED: Inside the Bush White House and What’s Wrong With Washington"

Comes our next week, I think he's on Keith Oberman's show Monday night. It broke tonight that he doesn't pull punches on the false pretense sold to go to war in Iraq, and how Rove and Cheney, among others were behind it.

guess we'll see how much comes out next week.

I just read the article somewhere else. sounds like what we've known all along....that W is somewhat genuine but has been manipulated by his inner circle to the point of creating one of the worst presidencies ever.

genuine, but an idiot, no comprehensive skills, and who in their right mind keeps nothing but yes people around them with the kind of decisions that he has to make?

it's started, ne is now being called a disgruntled employee, wow, what a joke.

how nice of him to wait until the term is just about over...it seems it would've been a bit more helpful if he came forward...oh, i don't know 2 years ago when he resigned?
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
  • I love how every Bush staffer and apologist is:

    puzzled
    bewildered
    sad
saying that this doesn't sound like the Scott I know

I've heard at least 10 different administration lackeys use anywhere from 1 to all 4 of those exact talking points

you could always just tell McLelland was not "one of them" He didn't lie with ease like Ari fleischer, that greaseball, or Tony Snow. I saw a skit, probably SNL, that had "him" sweating buckets trying to spin and doubletalk any question asked of him. then he went on jon Stewart after resigning, and he seemed like a good guy. like he just didn't belong with the rest of them

Mclellan will be on Keith Olbermann tonight, and the Daily Show on Monday
