Wonder why Palin didn't go after Don Young instead of Stevens

Really, he's a earmark champion.

Both Steven's and Young have waded in waist deep, inside the Beltway, mud. Even though Young tries to clean his off with a dip off the Florida shores, the traces of mud is still there. Kinda like that Louisiana mud, that Georgia and Mississippi mud, that old Alabama mud, that Abramoff mud, the type of mud that sticks with you; all you need is a blacklite to see the trail.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

  • Well, she actually kind of did, in a de facto way. Her Lieutenant Governor, Sean Parnell, ran against Young in the primary. Parnell actually just conceded the race which was on like Aug. 25 or something. Parnell lost by only approx. 300 votes.

The race is now wide open for the Dems, and their candidate, Ethan Berkowitz, isn't bad. The big question is now whether Palin will endorse Young.
Please don't smoke in smoke free buildings. You aren't cool, you're just an asshole
  • she also said that they needed to get as much in earmarks as they could, while their legislature was in a good position (meaning before they lost the majority. She also has not yet given back that Bridge To Nowhere money
