It's pretty neat how the plane's wings slice right through those steel beams with very little damage or loss of momentum. I think there is something wrong with their maths.

I'm also curious about the massive fireball that hurled down the elevator shafts damaging the lobby and facilitating the collapse, as mentioned in the NIST report. That doesn't seem to be part of the equation here. There is significant evidence of explosions occuring in lower floors that it can hardly be ignored by any serious inquiry.

Besides that, it looks neat and appears reasonable on the surface.

Hoffman on importing from LS-DYNA to 3DSMax
    Hoffman wrote:
The importer translates the simulation data into an animated 3D
scene amenable to high-quality visualization, effectively linking
the worlds of simulation and animation. The process of translation
implements two tasks. First, simulation data with little
    visualization relevance is discarded
    . Examples include removing
internal faces of structures modeled with opaque solid elements,
discarding values of physical quantities not intended to be
    visualized (i.e. pressure, momentum)
    , and simplifying planar
surfaces that are not affected by the impact and are therefore
    excessively tessellated by shell elements.

I wonder how accurate that would make the final animation. Any ideas?

Anyway, I'm just saying. I'm sceptical of everything.
