My latest appointment as a County Legislator here in the beautiful Hudson Valley of N.Y.

:) Global Warming Advisory Committee :)

As one of 2 county legislators on the committee, we will be working with experts on how we as a local Government change laws and policies to better reflect a more environmentally friendly government. We will also try to influence and help other smaller communities in our County become more proactive in their policy making decisions.

We have already adopted LEED standards for County projects, purchased a Hybrid Bus, and expanded the recycling laws.

A little at a time and leading by example. That is my goal.
