6.5 billion people on the planet and you do not think that we exhibit any effect on the climate of the planet? Not even one percent of the climate changes can be attributed to humans? Wow.
Health care is a serious problem facing the united states. With businesses being forced to outsource jobs, good health care is becoming more and more expensive for families.
Economic crisis is created by the media? It is spelled recession
Our country is in atrocious shape thanks to the good ole boy mentaility of the GOP. We are in tough times economically because we borrow money from China and spend it on a war that has goods made from companies tied to politicians. Most people are too uninformed to realize alot of the unethical situations the Bush administration has been involved in.
An example: The "economic surplus" was looked at as free money, when in fact it was an advance on our taxes for next year. The government encouraged the spending, but most people are in debt and used it to pay their bills. My wife and I paid off the patio we had put in, and donated the rest to PBS. I would rather have flushed it down the toilet that use it as GWB suggested.
Sub prime is the fault of the morons who bought 700K house with no money down...It is, but it also the fault of not regulating the housing market. There were alot of companies with republican ties that made a fortune.
Oil has nothing to do with Bush, it's a commodities market and the demand for oil in Asia, India, and China mostly. Oil would not be consumed so rapidly if our country was committed to minimizing our use and pursuing alternative energy sources. We are not nearly as populated, but we consume the second most amount of oil. We have not pursued alternative energy sources because the oil companies are powerful political players that nobody has stood up to and now nobody can stop them. Oil doesnt have anything to do with BUSH 2, it goes back to bush #1, Reagan, and Carter because we new about our dependence but did nothing about it.
The tree hugging libs wont let us drill for oil in ANWAR a barron wasteland of ice which is as much use to us as the surface of the moon with the exception of the OIL it holds. The oil in ANWAR is only enough to sustain us for a couple of year. The problem needs to be fixed now. We need to dedicate the country to solar panels, wind power, hydrogen/electric/hybrid cars. I personally do not care if it is used at all, but drilling in ANWAR will only further our dependence on oil.
Just be glad this world has never been safer.... we finally had a president who stood up on his hind legs and did something about terror. Safer? We are no safer now than we were in 2001. In fact Al Queda has started to regroup and I dont believe that Bin Laden has been captured yet. Our military is fantastic but it has been misused under the Bush administration. General after General have said this in the news.
as far as Katrina... do you see any of the people in the floods looting their own people, no... they are helping and supporting each other and themselfs, not waiting for the govt. to come save their ass. There was an incredible amount of looting during the Katrina aftermath. I wont even comment on your statement here.
ok libs... come get me.... I'm ready for you!

What isn't debatable about Bush is that his presidency has been a fiasco for the U.S. Whoever comes next is going to look great in comparison. A yak in pajamas would look better.0

Pats54 wrote:Better check your history I believe there was a world trade center bombing under Clinton in 1993. Maybe we should blame Bush for that as well. It is ok though becasue Obama will fix everything he is for change we can believe in.
yeah and they caught, convicted and imprisoned the guy that did it. supposedly we're looknig for Osama, although we seem to have gotten side tracked for the last 5 years.

the problem with the Bush admin is that they don't act, they react. they were given plenty of warnnigs (42 exactly) from the previous admin about the real threat of such an attack and they did nothing until it was too late. remember a report given to them that was caleld "Bin Laden Determined to attack the US" or somethig to that effect. Condaleeza Rice told congress they thoguht it was a historical account. A histroical account called "Bin Laden determined to Attack"? Hmmmm...yeah, that makes sense.Pats54 wrote:Not foreign??? the mastermind was ramsi youseif not exaclty an Irish Catholic lad. So 911 is Dubya's fault after all he was in office 9 months. They were bombing us regardless of who was in office. Took too long to plan etc. They would have done the same thing is Gore had been president. Except Gore would still be hiding under his desk trying to figure out what to do.
Katrina is another example of non-action fromthis admin, but the bush apologists will find a way to blame it on the victims, like they always do."An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."

I'm confused... why were there only 48 stars on the American flag during World War II? And now.. there are 50 of them.
And where is Pearl Harbor, again?Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

Wow.
Do you seriously believe all this... or are you just making up excuses to piss of the Liberals and Environmentalists?
Because I have never witnessed this country in such a deep divide and in so many troubling prediciments... facing some serious problems... with no easy solutions... ever. Is it just coincidence? Or does poor decision making and/or lack of leadership come into play?Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

I'm not American but I'm sure whoever you elect president in November your country will improve, lol. Just as whoever us Canadians elect Prime Minister in the next election our country will improve. Your country as our country will only improve when our elected officials work for us and not the corporate cocksuckers.I have certain rules I live by ... My First Rule ...
