Because I have never witnessed this country in such a deep divide and in so many troubling prediciments... facing some serious problems... with no easy solutions... ever. Is it just coincidence? Or does poor decision making and/or lack of leadership come into play?

I'm not American but I'm sure whoever you elect president in November your country will improve, lol. Just as whoever us Canadians elect Prime Minister in the next election our country will improve.
