Interesting article. I had read something about this before, I'll definitely try and check out more scientific, medical sources.

Either way, cannabis should be legal.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

  • makes sense. i suppose the cannabinoids counteract the carcinogens which would explain why you hardly ever hear of people who were non-cigarette smokers but did partake in a little weed, actually dying of lung cancer, despit eal the warnings. now we're finding it out it actually slows the spread of certain cancers? Great! spark up.

... This can't be true! My employer just made me take a one hour long "respect and responsibility" course online... probably 10 minutes of the thing was about marijuana (and other drugs). This course told me that if I smoke marijuana -- even on a Saturday night!!! -- that I will be less productive, not show up to work, be "scatter brained", and have SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS!!! Of course they didn't show WHERE they came up with that info, or what TYPE of health problems it would cause, but if a Fortune 500 company says it is so, it must be true.

This is the same company that hired a right-wing propaganda think tank (funded by big oil and big tobacco) to speak at our national sales meeting... Fuck me in the brain!
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.
