Colossal Hurricane-Like Storm Found on Saturn
By Will Dunham, Reuters
WASHINGTON (Nov. 10) - A colossal, swirling storm with a well-developed eye is churning at Saturn's south pole, the first time a truly hurricane-like storm has been detected on a planet other than Earth, NASA images showed on Thursday.

I was reading about this last night. A storm 5,000 miles wide, 350 mph winds, clouds 45 miles high! I love storms, I wish there was some way of getting a closer look at this one."Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." ~ MLK, 19630

Yeah that is very weird....not that I know anything about Saturn but for scientists to say they have never seen anything like this before is interesting.
Begs the question, why now?
I hope Al Gore looks into this.HOB 10.05.2005, E Rutherford 06.03.2006, The Gorge 07.22.2006, Lolla 08.05.2007, West Palm 06.11.2008, Tampa 06.12.2008, Columbia 06.16.2008, EV Memphis 06.20.2009, New Orleans 05.01.2010, Kansas City 05.03.20100 -

I think the scale of time in space is totally different than we perceive because of our lifespans. Though scientists say they've never seen anything like this, it doesn't mean it hasn't occurred before. Scientists have probably only been able to observe or measure such a storm in the last few years. Perhaps the last one occurred 10,000 years ago.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
