Thanks you guys! I turned it in last night and people wouldn't leave it alone.....they started smuding it a bit. Have to fix it now and apply sprayfix to clean it up.
Pesky fellow students! Anyway, I think I may start doing more and more charcoal drawings, these are fun to do...Eddie might be next!
Adobe Illustrator? Sorry for the stupid question, how does that work?
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
You can make incredibly high quality images such as :
You basically make shapes, and add text, shade, color, depth to the pic. This is an industry standard program, but it takes a long time to master.....like photoshop.
This is the program used to make t-shirts, hats, or the decals people put on cars. That Eddie pic, I could turn into any one of those if I wanted to. That's what made me laugh about all those people buying the Into The Wild t-shirts for 30 bucks at the show. It took someone literally like an hour to do the design on Adobe Illustrator, they handed the file to a t-shirt maker, they were pressed and sold for about a 3-4000% profit. Since those are just black shirts that cost a dollar or two.
I'm working on another Jimi....It's a stamp project. Found some sources, pieced them together in photoshop to make 1 solid fram, and this is where I am so far in Adobe Illustrator.

Thank you so much you guys! I had a pleasure doing it....I think the idea is half the battle with these things. I think I'm going to keep posting my stuff here, hopefully you can see improvement.
I've always wanted Jimi Hendrix on a stamp.....if Elvis got one, Jimi should be next! He's an american icon after all!
