Last day at work is November 28th.
About to sign up for a short photogrphy course to learn more technical elements.
In the meantime, if anyone would like to critique the stuff I have so far (I know not much - don't have much spare time to work on them) I'd be very very grateful!

Yep, been waiting for it for a while.
Taking a few months off to build up my photo collection, work on the house, go to the States (not sure exactly where yet - possibly the west coast again and I'd love to see Monument valley) then see what happens. Would love to see a couple of PJ shows when I'm out there late Jan/early Feb possibly....
Oh and fingers crossed taking a trip to Seattle in May to see FTM.

Off subject:
My husband wants me to ask you - "What the heck is up with the Toon Army???" We are huge Magpie fans and absolutely gutted (love that word - got it from watching Formula 1 racing) over the ugly turn the season has already taken with the Kevin walking away and the team up for sale. We're going to be lucky to not be relegated! My hubby's dream is to travel England and see a football match at every stadium.
If you ever get a chance, def go to Monument Valley, it is unreal. You can camp there even though they say you can't. I did at least. If you ever have a chance try to cram in a bunch of parks. I did it last year, I did Arches,Monument Valley,HoreshoeBend,Grand Canyon,Zion, Bryce and some others.. It was a whirlwind tour but I did it in like 7 days. Not a lot of sleeping and I basically shot all the time(it was a photo trip). Goodluck to you and keep on shooting, just have fun with it. I've been to the UK 3 times since 2002, and I always make a point of going to as many matches as possible....been to 7 of them in total!
Last year, we went to a first division match in East London.....a very cool experience because the supporters didn't know how to verbally filter their feelings about the other team and the ref!
After several years of watching the matches on tv, it was quite surreal to actually attend one. Highly recommended!
