10 years in the making...

As I traveled I saved headlines and front pages of newspapers.
I planned on one large piece that would commemorate the journeys my husband (now ex) and I went on. The situation changed but I still had these memories, all fond memories. I needed to sum it all up and put it all behind me. I chose a select few, more of vacations that were shared or Pj inspired and some taken with others (left out the honeymoon and anniversary trips for obvious reasons).

After a lot of soul searching (thanks to the Into the Wild soundtrack) I decided on the quote:

"All my destinations will accept the one that's me... so I can breathe"

it sounded like a way to say..."Here's where I have been.... I was one thing then and I am something different now, these places will accept me as something new when I choose to go back, my past does not define me".

Here's what I came up with:)

It may not be "high class" art....but it was cathartic way for me to enjoy my past... and move ahead.:)

    Awesome job CiW . . . Looks like you had some good company on this journey we call life. It's always good to embrace the bad with the good. It just makes us appreciate the good times that much more.

    that is really awesome....it is important (and brave) to remember the bad with the good, otherwise how would we learn?

    That is really nice. Lots of memories, some good, some bad I'm sure, but the overall picture is awesome! :)
