Urgent : Video rendering from still frames

I have about 2000 png's that would have to become a movie sequence
I'm using adobe premiere to do it but I'd like to know what the best settings are to get the best quality for a relatively small file size.
Any suggestions?

oh yeah, almost forgot, the png's are saved with an optimized colour palette :(
