I wasn't sure how this first one was going to come out, some parts came out better then I expected, and other parts i'm not sure. Since it has been years since I've done a painting like this, and never have on canvas before, I guess i'm pretty happy with the overall outcome of this painting.
This second painting I just finished yesterday. I've liked the real Pearl Jam picture that I did this painting from since the album came out last may. The picture is dark and I liked the colors in it. The background really blue and the mound of PJ flesh; red, brown, black and colors of the innards. There is alot of shapeless blobs, so i just blobbed on the paint, mixing lots of reds, and browns. With the blue, I just kept adding white as I was going along. I outline the PJ Pile O' Flesh to make them standout more. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of this painting, though not as detailed as I originally wanted it to be.

I'm wondering, about wondering...

what kind of paint did you use? looks like acrylic?
I wish the photo had more detail so we could see the texture of the globs of innards... hehehe...

I am tired; my heart is

The 2nd one is great. Good job.

I'm glad my paintings are liked. Makes me feel good, when not to many things do.
