Has anyone done any? I tried an EV one, but in my opinion it was a failed attempt:

no pj art directly. I think the eyes are amazing, and the hair, really beautifully observed and handled.

The mouth is where it is not working for me, but maybe that's just because I am familiar with the subject......

..... do you ever do animals? A lions eye or something?...... I think drawing the human figuratively is the hardest technical genre/type, we're all human so we look at it more carefully with the greatest level of understanding.

I LOVE the hair and clothes, backround detail is amazing I hate it when people mess that up

only thing I can see wrong with it, is the lines of the jaw are to clean, no shadow, and to straight.... I think thats probably what you dont like about it, it takes away from the realism of the peice. His eyes are haunting...great job

i think its a beautiful painting...you've got the eyes and the hair down...with eddie it's his eyes, and you definitly got those almost an anime style. And i saved your drawing on my computer and i'm probably going to print it out...I liked it that much
