too many to mention man, what direction are we headed?
    photo editing in general?
    restoring old photos?
    Effects?
    funny things?

I've recently attended an extreme photo editing workshop where we learned how to make people older, how to glamourize a photo, how to restore a fucked up old photo, make away with cracks and ink on photo scans, etc...

If you ave any questions, ask me what you want, but I'm a little busy to post my random knowledge atm
    maybe later though ;)

I'm with Jamal on this one. There is too much in this program to give tips. Ask what you want to do and I'm sure somebody will tell you how to do it. :)

Ooooh, I just thought of something!!!

In CS3, you now have a new tool that does what the magic wand in CS2 was supposed to do...
you can select it by right-clicking the magical wand tool and selecting the other one.

With this, you can just drag the cursor along the outline of the thing you need, place some control points and let it do the rest, works great :D

If you're using text try this:

Type something in a mustard color.

Click Layer - Layer style - Bevel & Emboss.

Now mess around with the controls that brings up, and you can make it look like gold. There a "box" in that control that looks like an angles line - click on the arrow and choose a less-straight line, like the wavy line, and that'll make your text look like shiny gold. The font tricks are amazing!!
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

The best thing in photoshop or one of the funnest things (IMO) is the Layer Styles. Can't get enough of them. Yes there is so much you can do with the program.
