i want one thats like rly good for sunsets and stuff
with more blured lines
if you know what i mean
btw - tahiti - lucky you - enjoy!!!
whats a good all around manual SLR camera thats durable also
that will also let me take somewhat artistic photos
but i heard those cameras suck
i have a minolta X-700 i adore...but that is quite old, don't think they even make em anymore. i say go to a camera store and check a few out. you really can't go wrong with any of the big *names* in cameras......and SLRs pretty much all have the same basic features.....so find one that feels good in your hands, sturdy, good price....then look at lenses for more flexibility. nothing like getting a new camera.
Ooh, I like the lomo look. I'm thinking of buying me one someday.
I have a Canon Powershot A70. The good thing about this series is that you can use it fully automatic, but it also has a hell of a lot of manual features to play with and be 'artistic'. If you want an idea on how these pics come out, check my picture thread (spooky trees and jolly horses) on this board. There are four pages, but they have a lot of different styles of pics on it: colours, b&w, 'the lines' you're talking about...

The powershot series is up to A95 already, so the price in the A70 or A75 should be reasonable. I love my Canon
