"could" is a very small liklihood and besides, my days of being in a pit crushed, squished, sweat on, etc. are over. I've outgrown that type of scene. Now if it could get me backstage...I might consider it! Until then, just being there is enough, even if it means nosebleed seats.
Need some help with a hotel for VA. I'll be driving in from Norfolk Airport. Is there anything walkable from the Verizon Amphitheater? The rates in the area seem kind of high -- are the budget motels any good, or am I going to have to shell out? Thanks for any advice.

there is no pit. Its assigned seating and they typically post "No Moshing" signs at the doors.
Other than Lollapalooza, I have not seen moshing/crowd surfing at a PJ show in YEARS!!! (Thank God!)
