my oh my...they are stunning. are they your photographs? truly beautiful sennin...but i know you are a designer...so you obviously have an eye for strong composition. they are both beautiful...but i really love the feeling evoked by the second pic. gorgeous......
really beautiful sen...truly. we need to dscuss. for the B&W....do you happen to be using a filter over your lens...say a red one??? b/c your contrast is way punchier than any other B&W digital pics i've seen others post. i know for *real* film...i always use a filter to make the contrast pop. if not...are you altering them at all then??? do share.......
On my 35mm (minolta 300si....which is now no longer mine, heh) I use yellow or amber. I need to get my photo albums back (heh) and scan some.
My digital camera (sony P51) has a built in b&w filter, but I always touch them up using Paint Shop Pro. I think most of these pics had time/date stamps that I had to cover up. The last two pics were actually taken in color, but I coverted them to B&W using the software.
Both pretty cheap cameras, but they take some great pics!

gotcha. just as i thought. contrast was way too nice otherwsie. damn...i love, love, love my filters!!! i have to start experimenting with my new digital camera and more. i was always a film purist. however - i am loving the immediacy of digital...and the quality is so improved. so those are actually prints scanned in...or digital???
damn...i really need to start fooling around with photo software too. when i was in grad school i did some - very little though - work with adobe....but that is sooo long ago i don't have much memory of it, and i'm sure there are vast improvements anyway. shite - i am long out of the darkroom too. i need to get *inspired* once again. prague!!!

Haha!
It's been a while since I've been in a dark room, college. All these are digital. Maybe this weekend I'll go get the albums from the ex and start scanning away.
I need a new digital and slr. The SLR is the ex's now, she's a great photographer, she's even had a few pics in books. Not sure why she never pursued is. My digital is only 2 megapixel, I need a more powerful one if I want to make prints out of any of these. These were taken @ 1024 x 768 and I shrunk them down a bit for easy viewing.
I use Paint Shop Pro because it's cheap and easy! hehe. It uses many of the same plug-ins and filters as Adobe Photoshop but it's about 1/4 the $$$.
These look alot different on my work computer. yuck. hehe. My monitor here is set super dark because of the work I do...but still...I hope everyone can see them ok.

i love my SLR.....but salivate at the thought of a medium format camera someday....mmmmmm. well i just got a shiny new - and 4 megapixel - digital camera for my bday. now i just have to learn how to really use it. i havent really spent any time in my darkroom since 2000, for a variety of reasons. i really want to learn more with digital though. given the fact that i was a photo majoy - i really am quite un techy. hahaha. gotta work on that.
someday we'll have to really discuss all this....very cool. thanks for the info.
Watching your awesome pictures I started to believe I will always be a sucker for BW pictures ... I really need to dust off camera's and start shooting images again *sigh* Thanx for sharing this.

Moments that I have shared with you
Our hearts may break
But they're on their way
And there's nothing I can do
