Some tulips slanting to the right. It's funny that so many of these have been constructed like that lately. I think I'll have to consciously avoid that slant chopping across the picture for a while!! :? :geek:
Great shots Stummers Although the resizing of Bamburgh does absolutely nothing to catch the immensity of that castle. I don't think there is a camera created yet that can do that :shock: Still you caught a great angle and it looks like that day was amazing. The seabird pic is amazing.

Thanks Sel, I know the castle is huge! Not as ancient as some in the county though. When we got in that night we were flicking through tv and last action Hero was on and noticed they used an image of Bamburgh castle (which was inevitably blown up seconds later ). Was a lovely day and you can't beat fish and chips from Seahouses (that's what the birds were after anyway!)
Found this grave marker on the military base down the street. There are quite a few feral cats around there. This fellow was one of them. His name was Trooper and he was this Base's mascot. RIP Trooper :(
