Forget more East Coast dates, PLAY ALASKA!
For a band that prides itself in playing out-of-the-way places, how the hell has PJ never played up here?! A new job means I can't leave Anchorage this summer (not that I am complaining about being stuck in Alaska all summer). Come north this summer boys, you won't regret it. Even Elton John managed to sell out 2 Anchorage shows and a Fairbanks show in less than an hour (and it was painful listening to everyone in my office trying to get tickets).
At least I have my Wilco tickets for July...

haven't you noticed that pearl jam no longer cares about the things they once "prided" themselves in?

Speaking as someone who has seen Wilco five times in the last couple of years, I have to say congratulations.
I wish Pearl Jam still had a little bit of Wilco's business sense.

(sighing and shaking my head) Third Eye Blind.
Somehow, even that show will sell out.
I just rocked out in the rain to Son Volt last night at the Ocean's Festival in the beer garden. Believe it or not, there is a good music market up here in Alaska. A summer PJ show up here would be epic.
