Home Town

This is my first poem so don't laugh at it.

My home town is on a map
Some day might go to my home town
Then you can try to find my house
It's got a swing and a porch
In fact the swing is on the porch
Flowers are on the porch
I used to knock them over when I swang
My mom moved them; she was afraid...
She was afraid they might die
They were in a little pot
The pot itself had flowers painted on it
It was a very pretty pot I thought
Pot, I thought; pot, I thought.
If you can't find my house in my home town
Maybe you shouldn't worry much about it
My home town has other things...
Other things like a really good donut shop
I ate donuts there once til I threw up
It was all in my mom's flowers
Not the flowers on the porch
These flowers were in a flower bed in the front yard.
Some of the flowers wilted for a while after that
But they got better
I think it was the stomach acid.

I was kinda skeered of you tonight, having met you in AET, and not knowing what to make of you, I thought it best to sort of humor you.

After reading this poem, I'm still not sure about you.

That being said, I also have to wonder if perhaps people should start taking the Tums out of the bottle and sticking them in their gardens.

    Stomach acid for plants....who'dathunkit?
