I saw him this afternoon.
him in his holey black dress pants,
stained button up shirt,
rummaging through a trash dumpster,
For treasures and food.

I saw her, yesterday afternoon,
she was in a dingy white gown,
(a wedding dress full of holes),
talking to herself as if there
were others around.

A girl dressed in white,
Standing before a mirror,
Admiring her youthful beauty.
Wondering in her innocence’s
What will come to be?

A boy dressed in black
All excited about the night to come
Confidently putting on his tie.
He has done what he needs to do,
to get to this glorious occasion.

Standing at a burn barrel this evening,
stood the man in his holey pants,
grinning from ear to ear, holding the hand
of the woman in the dingy dress.
As he looked deep into her eyes,
I thought I heard her say. . . I do. . .
