shouting down the tunnel, willing my voice to carry past the gates,

i have to reach you now,

i have to reach you now or never,

youre slipping from consciousness,

i need to you stay with me

"stay with me,please, youll be okay"

like a beggar's whim, and a tidal's spin,

a rip tide but i cant get back to shore this time,

its pulling you away from me...

that night i lay in bed praying to every god i know.

so sixty times twenty, for every sick thought,

i dont want you to leave this soon.

a child born, a man lost,

caught through an indian creation,

my evil dreams, filtered like bad blood,

clotting inside my brain,

like watching my veins collapse,

like watching the sun relapse,

the rise and fall of the moon,

the things i saw once from the square pane of your car window,

like a secondary television...

the coma set a time schedule that ive tried to surpass.

the coma set a map inside my head.

im shouting down the tunnel, willing my voice to carry past the gates,

i have to reach you now,

i have to reach you now or never,

i need to you stay with me,please.
