Would it be too much to ask for what can be expected in 2008 regarding PJ :
- new album
- touring
- 2007 boots release
- boots program in the future...

... or maybe nothing to expect this year ?

Cheers

PS
We need PJ stuff like the world (& Ed too) needs good french wine
:)
Still waiting for a gig in Paris (in a venue not a festival) since 2006...
Spin, spin !!

Marseille + Paris 2006
London + Werchter 2007
Arras + Belfast 2010
Arras 2012
Paris Lollapalooza 2022

There will be a show or r2 of some description, Possibly more. They have played at least 3 shows every year since 1990, why should this year be any different?

New Cd possibly towards the end of the year.

2007 boots to be release NO

That is just my opinion of what is going to happen.

Oh and an acoustic show in my backyard. I will supply the bbq, the beers and a bottle of red :)

come on now, you know the birds don't come back until spring!
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • Wow, just realized it was EXACTLY one year ago today that the last "real" tweet was announced by Sea.......

i heard 2008 will bring a 3 night stand at the commodore in vancouver...cool!! first night will be songs from ten to yield, second night is all acoustic and the third night will be binaural to avo... sounds like it could be good.

my buddies, got in wearing fake homemade binaural crew "passes" i wish i tried harder to get into that. this girl i worked with at the time was in talks with the radio station to work for one hour naked, serving at milestones to get in. she didnt do it. plus i think it would be illegal.

i hope 2008 is a good year, but i think 09 or 10 will be the next HUGE tour....they need a big break, touring from sept 1st 05 to aug 07 is massive.... i know there were breaks in there, but still....i say let em rest. except for the commodore shows....of course.

I'm thinking more like April like that one dude on here said after he met Mike, so we probably won't get an album until early 2009.

Tour plans: Bonnaroo (of course), maybe the NYC show that someone on here posted, and maybe a few dates for the South

    I'm predicting a 2-1 announcement date for Bonnaroo :)

    Boots: Hopefully soon!

  • It would be easy to look up but I'm sick so I'll ask instead. Have PJ ever taken a year off from touring then came back the next with a big tour before releasing a new CD?

Is this some kind of a hint?

I was just thinking the other day that if Pearl Jam wanted to tour the south (but were nervous about ticket sales) a certain southern band would make a great co-headliner.
