happiness
sadness
I’m on a plane
somewhere in between
smile with the right eye
turn the left
toward the ground
It’s always one step forward
and enough back
to get around the block
facing backward
and no matter
how hard
I work to tighten it
she’ll always think
I’ve got a screw loose
sadness
I’m on a plane
somewhere in between
smile with the right eye
turn the left
toward the ground
It’s always one step forward
and enough back
to get around the block
facing backward
and no matter
how hard
I work to tighten it
she’ll always think
I’ve got a screw loose

good description of a frog's eyes. i dig this poem, even if it is not at all about frogs eyes
and i, too, have a loose screw or two
we all do. i am certain
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
