I'm not too hung up on a day like all the rest.
I take no real stock in thinking i'm special.
I would however like to find something that is truely inspiring.
Everything/everyone is so jaded.
I'm none too concerned.
I'll still exist in some sort of empty space, crowded by external stimulus.
I want my own space, a space where I can control my path.
Too much is dictated by chance and order, I don't want either.
I don't need any deckhands, just a way to steer.
The idea of me being special, or anyone for that matter is laughable.
That is, being 'special' in some sort of cosmic way.
There are connections, as well as dischord, it all twists and turns.
What comes out of it is not extraordinary,
it is a coupling of instances thrown together for better or worse.

This is extremely insightful, thanks. I feel very similar as far as wanting to forge my own path...free of pretension...nothing magical.
