what ever happened to those old brick buildings uptown? they were knocked down and paved over and this paved the way for vinyl to stop being used for music and instead to cover our homes. paint disappeared from art and of course from homes, and now is leaving our fingers. broken, our dreams resolve to come to terms with the truth that they can't come true. waltz and mingle with local politicians and overlook sarcasm just so you can look down on the poets behind it. it's a glorious job but nobody has to do it.

No one is required to be sarcastic, but some people seem to enjoy it.
