the sun also burns

some say the impoverished
are lazy
or like to cut corners
but i disagree
because i witnessed
two poor children
fighting over the crust
of a missing sandwich

    Ooh I really like this one, a very few words but it's incredible how in those few words you managed to make this cut-throat effect, like a straight forward way of expressing things, I hope that made sense haha, but hey keep up the great job :)

    This Walden Freeman guy pisses me off.

    I'm going to attempt another reading of my pomes this week, possibly in Philly.

    Let's hope I don't get booed off the stage before I even get halfway through my first poem, like last time.
