Oddly enough I was just listening to the Nassau Coliseum show the other day for this very song and to relive that tension filled night. Blazing hot performance! One of my favs!
one of the best covers ever... musically a good choice for pearl jam, vocally and its just so pearl jamish
I could listen to "THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT..............................wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiithhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh GUITTTTTAAAAAAAAAARS"
Although the first time I heard those eerie chords from Know Your Rights, I was like...."No way are they playing the Clash."
And they tore it up.
I remember looking over setlists from the 03 tour and was like oh cool must be a cover, then when I got the discs and it started I was like "whaaaaa??? a clash cover!!!" shortly afterwards I felt like a tard for not realizing that of course the know your rights on the boot would be the clash cover and not some random obscure thing like I had thought
"I'm not suicidal, except when I drink. That's why we don't all drink at the same time, there'd be no-one alive to drive home..."
