the sounds of a crumbling metropolitan mortuaries!
a judas's brutus, betraying a benedict!
cymbals symbolically crashing!
i have waved goodbye to oceans, tidally!
i have risen -- a son -- from the east!
my brother has risen -- a sun -- from the west!
clapped and clapped and cried the actors off-stage!
closed the curtains and curtailed each musical!
gone blind for the sake of better judgement!
become and astronomer and subsequently given up drinking because the moon only reflects light!
educated myself about the ancient tribes of each nightclub along the shore!

i alone meander out of bars at three a.m. to check to kill-with-kindness the messenger
