get ready for
this summer's most anticipated film

god 2

god's back
and this time
he's not taking any shit

he's out for revenge
pulling long-forgotten
brittle-boned astronauts
towards solid suns
more dense and dying
than any chalkboard-colored
universe backdrop
with unerased dots
being scraped by the fingernails
of our forgotten hero

you win this time, god
but we, the people
will be back

pray we do not
bring reason
