a clear lake going blue
looking ahead i can see the reflections
of you
looking back

but here in the seats of the cars that we drive
here in the sides of insides
of boxes
i'm a quiet tornado
a modest mall made for shoplifting
a shiny wrapper around something you'll lose
somewhere along the way
