as i think back
to the mornings where the dust particles
were slowly waltzing in the sunlight
shot through the windows
in our house
like out-of-place snowflakes
each searching for fingers
to reveal a print
the tears gather in my eyes
because it's the little things
about our time together that
i'll remember the most
