The snow and ice came down
The mix of death on my mind
The ugly streets, the dark sky
Nothing compared to the storm in my mind

The ticking clock
Loud in my head , to loud to sleep
The painful dreams
Of yesteryear past

As the time went on and on and on
As the mirror spoke in tell tale song
And the everlasting sigh
I will be with you till the end of time

Your presence made me try
Your love gave me hope
Your touch gave me chills
Your beauty made me blind

My heart has turned to ice
My being made you cry
I pray you know I loved you
On the day that I died

Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
