Waves roll in threes and fours
And I’m still left looking for an open door
Was a day I stood at the water’s edge and watched
For sharks’ fins and listened for kraken’s roar
I couldn’t escape the fact that I feared these things.
Logic told me if I never entered the water there was no need for fear
But the feeling persisted.
I couldn’t stand being so illogical, so I did the only thing I could
Took 4 running steps and dove
Into the dark sea

I’ve been here for about 3 days now
And still haven’t had to face my fears
And I’m alright with that
I find conquering these small obstacles boosts my confidence
So maybe when I get home I’ll be able to make the ultimate leap of faith
With you.

Waves still roll in threes and fours
But now I ride on top
And instead of fearing drowning and death
I delight when They throw me under and embrace me at the sea’s bottom
Because I’ve found I feel truly alive when I’m not sure that I will be at the end of the next minute.
"Ah, life is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyway, why not live for fun and joy and love or some sort of girl by a fireside, why not go to your desire and LAUGH..."
