2. I’ve been living here for far too long
Starting to forget just what it is that’s so wrong
So maybe ill settle in, and forget my big ideas
Sure I wasn’t practical, but at least it was real

But then I watch the sun set behind the concrete mountains
And remember what I’m missing
The fire of your eye gets dulled by the city lights
Like the stars I can barely see on those clear city nights

Seems this place has that effect on most anything
Stay here long enough and dull describes most everything
Except the pain of not knowing who I am
And how I ended up here, and why I haven’t ran.
"Ah, life is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyway, why not live for fun and joy and love or some sort of girl by a fireside, why not go to your desire and LAUGH..."

I really liked this. I had such vivid pictures in my head....well done.
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
  • I hear ya.

    Thanks
