Erosion works on just about anything, I’ve found
be it stone, cement, emotion or body. and the boulders of my yesterday have become the sand in my bed tonight, grinding into my back and refusing to let me escape conscious life. weathering is a slow and cruel process, almost imperceptible most times. so that it sneaks up on you when you’re alone in the dark, and catch a glimpse of an unknown face looming up at you, out of a mirror. all things change, some for the better, but all things crumble with time. but, I hold out hope for evaporation.
to be continued...

nahh, more that when you (water actually i guess) evaporate youre about as free as something on earth can get, you can just catch the breeze and float anywhere, and can end up as just about anything, which sounds pretty good to me
That's an adorable thought.
