As I look into your eyes I am transported
I take that first small step for man, but I don't think gravity has anything to do with the light in my soul.
I leap before looking, and land amongst friends.
I dive right in, with disregard for temperature.
I open the car door, get out, and take my first step towards self emancipation

A walk in the woods can be the height of serenity or the depths of fear
And I've always been afraid of heights.
But if you never get above the skyscrapers
You'll never see the big picture for what it really is
A desperate attempt at eliminating fear
Avoidance is not a way of dealing with deep-seeded issues,
Just like pulling the leaf will not kill the deep-seeded weed.
A plant is a plant is a person is a friend, so why do we so cavalierly choose what belongs where?
If I belong here and you belong there, to leave this place and meet would be an adventure
And I've come to realize that all that really matters in life
Is making sure you have enough adventures that are worth thinking about
As you lay down for the final time.
