but.

he's got a great view.

"Where the hell am I?" he asked himself. Reaching for a sheet, wincing against the sunlight coming through the blinds. Slowly, painfully, Joe Strohm's eyes adjust and he's able to asses his situation.

"Ok. I'm naked. Nice." he thinks. Then he realizes he's not alone.
"Er... Good Morning?"

Cindy Pete has all the covers. She stretches like a cat and turns to look Joe Strohm over, her own eyes squinting, her hand subconsciously coming to her eyes to remove the pool of mascara from their corners.

"Good Morning, Jason", she sighs and flops her arm back down to her side, raising a furious dust storm into the morning-lit room.

"My name is Joe." Joe laughs.... "I'm sorry. Who are you?"

Cindy laughs, too, and pulls herself closer to Joe.

"We had fun last night, eh?" smiled Cindy.

"We must have", replied Joe, "I don't remember a fucking thing! I mean, I remember getting ready, and driving to the bar. I remember drinking a few Beam and Cokes... and that's it."

"Ah! It's just because you're so hung. Let me make some coffee." She rose out of bed and pulled a pink satin affair over her shoulders. "Cream?" she asked... and left the room.

Interesting, but I don't understand what it has to do with that section of Deep?

If you want to see that part of the song come to life, just watch "Traffic".

Joe grabbed the sheets and pulled himself into a more comfortable position. They smelled like laundry soap and sunshine. The digital clock on the nightstand read eleven-fourteen. He watched it change to eleven-fifteen, then closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Two hours passed. Joe woke again to the tickle of long black hair on his shoulder. He opened his eyes to find Cindy, fresh-faced and ready for the day. She kissed his closed mouth and said something about having to go to the gym. She said he could stay and sleep as long as he wanted to, but that he shouldn't leave without saying goodbye.

Joe ran a hand down Cindy's side from her shoulder to her hip. Cindy smiled, kissed him once more, and turned to leave.

"See ya!", she said, and Joe fell back into a dream.
