Lost on the side of the road
throat burns from the drinking of sand.
Walk through six circles around her
as she weaves delicate crystals in hand.
The sun doesn't set or fall here,
In your mind sleeps the cloudless night.
All life that you've been through not chosen
but I've seen him lose all his fights.
He keeps up his pace with the storm,
but hangs back when he runs out of control.
Mind off in the distance forever
and his spirit wanders off alone.
throat burns from the drinking of sand.
Please let it rain today
the city is so filthy
like my mind
in a way
the city is so filthy
like my mind
in a way

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
