It's hard to believe that once
Was brown turns green.
A wink of the eye, a
Burst of anger, flickers,
Abides and disappears.

So it is with friends who
Don't say goodbye before
They die.

Emotions roam, the surf's
Sweet foam. Orange light's
Blue-green sparks, fades to dark.
