Lucky Me & My Diamond

I bought a gold diamond,
pretended not to know,
that people die, that mother's cry,
that children cry, that father's die.

My fake sixty dollar nails
by the way
don't they look swell?
Are only the pretense to
reflect my good looks,
in the diamond I bought,
all that I sought, which doesn's help
me feel good. I look at my ring,
and I feel warm and good.

Pretended not to know,
that people die, that mother's cry,
that children cry, that father's die.

My man say I deserve the best,
the radios blah, blah, blah,
tells the story, how lucky i'll be
what a catch, what a lucky woman
to have a man that so much loves me.
All that love reflected in my shiny diamond.
Lucky me.

I pretended not to know,
that people die, that monster's live,
that mother's cry, that father's cry
that children cry.

If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.
