Once freedom went away
with my guilt, spread
and splayed.

Walked miles, single file,
forgot my friends, searched for family,
along the path where monsters
waited in the dark for their next meal.

No food, no water, religion in the way.
children so young, not standing a chance
to run away. Walking walking, can not
stop, the evil, those who slay.

There is no progress, there are no miracles,
the dream of sweet fruit, is oh so far away.
The survival rate, children dropping every day.

Hear the story, from thousands and thousands.
Living in a refugee camp, patching lifes with
slow days gone by, sand becomes one.
Who next will experience, the side effects of hate?
Heed the children's history before
it is too late.

  • wow...powerful stuff
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
