Then, now I walk peacefully
Besides you as my friend
May you burn brightest
Lighting the way and illuminating
My torches throughout the world

A cold mare's breeze, she blows from the shallow valley below
Nightwatch, she- my shoulder brazing
Though we pass, these torches violent in their night
Along the ridge, in the stone, the night watch walks

Seems to that wild wind; [old curses thrown]
That my time only in conflict shares
But from God's view, its my soul given a rest
To walk now peacefully beside you
My truest friend.

For EV- all love in my heart-jlb
