you were there for a little while
i thought it would be longer
wrong I was Im not surprised
13 months time flies
you took with you all I was
you took with you my dna
forever ended in 6 years
but its ok
no its not , not today
the pattering feet , the quiet sleep
the embrace and smile of a beautiful child
the comfort zone now im alone
the costumes and candles, drawings and words
pictures,singing , laughter and stories told
all memories and ghosts
beautiful things are now tormenting me
cuts on my arms for all to see
hidden is the hole in my heart

What happened? Was it sudden?

yeah, I went into hospital for a heart attack while in observation overnight she took my kids , cat, money everything left , next day I get out of the hospital and got hit with divorce papers , it was the week of our 6th anniv. I had no idea it was coming. Got home there was nothing but a shoe box with some pictures from my childhood in it.
I signed the papers the next week, our ouse was to be auctioned and we were to split the money, I was in seattle giving my brain a break for a week , got back to find she let it go for $1k , after fees and split I got $350. (we paid 50k cash for our house 5 years before and owned it).. Im still not ok its been a year my would be anniv is next month. I havent been able to get my life back together again though Ive tried.. im still in the hole financialy.

I guess the one big lesson I did learn is that if you dont pay (enough)
attention to something , it will go away..
Doesn't matter if its marriage or a toothache, that rule works with just about everything. Believe me when I tell you that : )

I am really sorry that you have to go through these trials. The only thing I can say is I have gone through some very hard situations in my life, and it is easy to lose hope and not see past the present. But evey day you move through this is another day you succeed, and every day you succeed is another is another chance for good things to happen. Good luck.
