off goes the trails
where i stroll dodges tree limbs and scrapes yellow flowers against the sea
"green" is a song-sung by dew covered ferns
red speckled mushrooms stand with small rainbows as fairies laugh
step walking steps winding turns deer ducking heads branches
everything is against my skin like nature is silk
so fresh and brand new; i am like water so gently smooth,
i have soothing rain-drops falling on my face
so peaceful this day
mine are always like this here with walking-hiking
steps in the sky are wind taking feathers home
mine are the earth beside these trees, underneath them
trails within them and free
for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
