    I was a little intimidated to post it...some of the other poetry here is so much better. I'm just in a funk lately...and it seems I can only write when I'm in a funk.

    For Better or Worse....

    every year around this time - I think of those words that were said. I'm pretty sure we meant to keep those words and hoped to live happlily ever after.... How quickly it all ended, and now its done and over with.

    love that myself. a shower under a downspout during a hot summer's day, yes, buck ass naked in case you're wondering. this was our father at some of his best living. our well was dry, uncle was drunk as shit, on another roll, sometimes we'd go a few days with no running water, yes, we had an outhouse out back that the ole' man and our mother dug out next to the dog kennel which also had its own septic tank as well. (grandpa (dad's dad)could build a kennel)

    during these times we took showers @ (mom's dad) grandpa's house or where have you.

    I feel most creative when I'm depressed.
    But being depressed sucks.
    Though I'm happy that I'm being creative.
    So, am I really depressed after all?

    Does that even make any sense?
    Feels like I'm going crazy...or I'm the sanest person I know.
