    i need you to know that i made a mistake, that i coudn't build rome in one day,

    i need you to know that i thought leaving meant running away,

    i need you to know that it left me with an emptiness that seems even hollow today

    I made a mistake that i couldn't change, but it never changed the way

    that i loved you, even after i was so far away,

    that i thought of you with every passing day.

    i still love you today, even today of all the days.

    yesterday was a good one....

    accomplished something that i never thought i'd see again....

    was quite surprised and pleased with myself....

    yet feeling so blessed and humbled....
