campfire bacon dew morning
fresh-air wood burning cast-iron-skillet
coffee blended bacon aroma
old dried dying leaves fall away into
memories

near by trout stream running dawn fog lifting
silent forest floor where deer hooves dance
songbirds choir natures live broadcast
now stars have bowed out behind tents
bursting open new sky above trees audience

before this hour resting trails hiked alone
before this hour

    I pictured myself around a campfire in a forest with leaves falling all around, yellow leaves and some red.... and the bacon is sizzling in the cast iron frying pan infront of me... and it's a clear day with a cold crisp feel.
