Let me tell you of our garden.
Quietly sitting some distance from you I watch.
I sit watching, writing, putting poetry down onto paper as you put your hands down, down into this earth.
I write as you bloom away with this day.
Relaxed you are.
Hands turning over rich soil darkened ground.
Colors growing delicate blooms that surround.
A simple smile on your face lets me know you’re happy.
I write.
And what is written is the beauty shared between our garden and you.
You’re my every flower, my one.
Watching you from some distance are my singing daydreams sung.
With your hands in the earth you are in a place of peaceful harmony.
Walking over to you I feel your eyes touching mine, smiling with yours.
You’re my peaceful poetic sanctuary growing in this garden lips kiss.

I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
